Our first placement student reflects on his time at RbD

A year ago, Research by Design took on it's first university work placement student, Sam Jones. From the very beginning, Sam got involved in various activities and tasks at RbD. His role involved assisting the team throughout numerous qualitative and quantitative projects as well as assisting our Commercial Director with marketing activities.

As a part of Sam's placement year, he was assigned a project in which he had to identify and articulate the significance of a given process or issue for Research by Design. Sam chose the topic of member engagement, where he talked about the member engagement model and RbD's involvement with MemeberWise Network to deliver the Member Engagement Toolkit. Sam worked very closely with the team to gain as much knowledge around his chosen subject, and produced a fantastic piece of work. As a result, he was graded a First by his university for this placement project.

We are glad to have received brilliant feedback from Sam, and we are pleased he learned a lot from the RbD team. Sam was a great credit to Research by Design, and we wish him all the best for the future and finishing his studies.
